45 Degrees In The Shade

Today was a very hot day.
The temp was 36 Celsius,
and with the humidity, it felt like 45.

It was hot during the lunch hour,
but the afternoon was even warmer.

By the time I was walking home
from the bus stop,
It literally felt like an oven outside.

In my infinite wisdom,
I decided to go jogging,
but only once the sun began to set.

That was still a mistake,
because the humidity was still so very high.

By the time I arrived back home,
my clothes were soaked in sweat,
and I felt so dehydrated,
even though I drank a bottle of water while running.

Now I feel exhausted,
so we'll have to wait and see how I feel in the morning.
